What you'll be doing:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance/ General Services Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our attraction, ensuring that both the exhibits and public areas are safe, functional, and well-presented. If you’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a unique and lively environment, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct general maintenance and repairs throughout the attraction (basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and basic mechanical work).
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Ensure all exhibits, displays, and public areas are well-maintained and safe for visitors and staff.
• Assist with the setup, repair, and upkeep of exhibits, enclosures, and aquarium tanks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
• Collaborate with the team to support special events, renovations, and upgrades.

• Previous experience in a maintenance, technician, or handyman role.
• Practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Passion for marine life and conservation is a plus!
