We’re on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Social Media Manager to lead and elevate our social media strategy across Merlin Entertainments’ EU attractions – from LEGOLAND® to Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE to the Dungeons, and more.
As a key leader in our global marketing team, you’ll own our social presence across multiple platforms, drive audience engagement, and deliver innovative campaigns that captivate millions of guests across the region.
This role can be based at any of our Europe attractions or offices on a hybrid basis.
Lead strategy and planning – Develop and implement a bold, insight-driven social media strategy aligned with brand and business goals across all EU attractions.
Run outstanding campaigns – Oversee the creation and execution of engaging, platform-first campaigns that boost brand awareness and inspire action.
Build community and connection – Champion best-in-class engagement tactics, influencer relationships, and partnership opportunities to grow and energise our audience.
Measure and optimise – Use data to track performance, uncover insights and continually refine our social approach to deliver meaningful results.
Collaborate across teams – Work closely with PR, content, digital and paid media teams to ensure our campaigns are integrated, creative, and cohesive.
Lead and inspire – Manage and mentor a high-performing social media team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
Drive innovation – Stay ahead of trends, tools, and tech to ensure our brands remain relevant and cutting-edge across every social platform.
Experience leading social media for major consumer brands – ideally within entertainment, travel or hospitality
Proven track record of delivering impactful, insight-led social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X (Twitter)
Experience managing influencer campaigns, social content production and community engagement at scale
Strong analytical skills and experience using tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Google Analytics to drive strategy and performance
Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
A creative, commercially minded approach and the confidence to innovate
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
